Plagiarism Policy

Advances in Chronic Diseases journal adheres to all the terms and conditions of the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) regarding its plagiarism policy. The flowcharts and workflows established by COPE regarding plagiarism are adopted.
 
All articles submitted to Advances in Chronic Diseases for publication are checked for plagiarism using Turnitin/iThenticate software. Advances in Chronic Diseases journal meticulously requests and checks plagiarism reports from authors for all submitted articles. Editors may check for plagiarism at various stages of the review or production process, if necessary. Articles identified as plagiaristic in the early stages of review are rejected and will not be considered for publication in the journal. This also applies to manuscripts accepted after review. Depending on the type of article, the rate is expected to be less than 20%.
